Full Job Description Overview :
Roto-Rooter Corporation is looking for an CNC Operator at our facility in West Des Moines, Iowa.
Jon Duties:
Monitor quality by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming control. Machine all types of materials (steel, aluminum, stainless and plastics) Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes. Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies.
Requirements & Qualifications:
CNC Programming experience required High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of G & M Codes, preferred. Minimum of 12 months experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment Experience with CNC mills and lathes. Minimum 2-year degree in machining, preferred. Ability to read precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gages. Ability to speak, write, read and comprehend procedures in English. Ability to machine all types of materials (steel, aluminum, stainless and plastics) Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift light to medium weight up to 50 lbs. May stand for prolonged periods of time. Must have adequate sight to read blueprints.
