This is a hands-on, senior-level machining position for someone who can independently program, set up, and troubleshoot horizontal, vertical, and multi-axis milling machines. We are looking for a skilled machinist who can step into a busy shop, get machines running efficiently and help keep production moving. The successful candidate will be organized, self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently with minimal oversight. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Program, set up and operate horizontal, vertical and 5-axis CNC mills Program parts using GibbsCAM Complete machine setups and establish reliable production processes Troubleshoot programming, setup, tooling and machining issues Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet required specifications Move between multiple machines, jobs and production priorities throughout the day Manage setup priorities and workflow to help keep production on schedule Maintain quality, efficiency, cost awareness and thoroughness in all work performed Adapt to changing production demands and shop priorities Work independently while supporting the overall goals of the shop Follow all company safety and quality procedures Required Qualifications At least five years of CNC programming experience At least two years of multi-axis programming experience Strong experience setting up and operating horizontal mills, 5-axis mills or both Experience programming with GibbsCAM Ability to independently take a job from drawing through programming, setup and production Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing specifications Ability to inspect parts using appropriate measuring tools and gauges Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Consistent attention to quality, efficiency, cost and completeness Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a highly skilled machinist who can be trusted to step into a busy shop environment, get machines set up and running and take ownership of assigned work. This person should be comfortable solving problems independently, adapting to changing priorities and helping create a more efficient and productive operation.

Pay:
