Job Description

Summary:
Join our team of talented machinists in producing complex one-off parts for our customers. This is a highly independent role in a climate controlled work space. We are currently hiring for any/all machine areas!
Job Function :
You will be responsible for programming, tooling, setting up, and running one-off parts to customer print specifications. Independently program, set-up and operate CNC and manual metalworking lathe or mill to produce complex, one-off parts to customer specifications. Utilize prints, drawings, shop math, metric measurements, GD&T to interpret data to meet the required dimensions and tolerances of the part. Ability to set up and run complex parts in a timely manner while holding tight tolerances Ability to use creative thinking to complete complicated processes Utilize inspection equipment, including gages, micrometers, calipers, gage blocks, form measuring, or other devices, to ensure accurate parts are produced with the specified tolerances. Accountability for accurate, quality workmanship. Working as a team member, keeping communication open regarding all jobs/machines
Requirements :
2+ years experience in programming, setup, and operation of CNC and manual lathe or mill. Working knowledge of machine tooling, fixturing, and work-holding. Working knowledge of shop math and blueprint reading (including GD&T) as well as measuring methods and techniques. Proven skills and ability to work to very tight tolerances Ability to problem solve using critical thinking skills. Strong attention to detail EDM experience a plus
