is a precision machining company in Lake Villa, IL, looking for an experienced CNC Mill Programmer / Machinist who can independently program, set up, and operate

mills. This is a hands-on position for an experienced machinist who enjoys taking a job from blueprint or CAD drawing through programming, setup, machining, inspection, and completion . We primarily perform prototype and short-run precision machining , so the work involves a variety of parts, materials, setups, and machining challenges rather than repetitive production work. What You Will Do Program CNC mills using Mastercam Set up and operate

HAAS CNC

Mills Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T Select tooling, workholding, feeds, speeds, and cutting strategies Set tool and work offsets and make program adjustments Machine prototype and short-run precision parts Inspect completed parts using precision measuring equipment Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and dimensional issues Make adjustments to achieve required dimensions and tolerances Work with a variety of materials and machining requirements Help improve machining methods, setups, and cycle times Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area What We Are Looking For 5+ years of CNC milling experience Strong experience setting up and operating

HAAS CNC

Mills Experience programming with Mastercam Ability to independently take a job from print through completed part Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds and speeds, and machining practices Experience using precision inspection equipment Ability to troubleshoot machining and dimensional problems Strong attention to detail and quality Preferred Experience Prototype and short-run machining Tight-tolerance precision machining 3
