In this role you'll program and operate advanced CNC machines to produce complex, high-precision parts that go into the performance transmissions we ship nationwide.

Responsibilities CNC Programming:

Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for 3 & 5-axis HAAS Mills and HAAS lathes using CAD/CAM software, based on engineering drawings and models.

Machine Setup:

Prepare and set up 3 & 5-axis mills and lathes — tooling installation, alignment, and workpiece fixturing.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure components meet all quality standards.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve machining issues to keep production running.

Maintenance & Safety:

Follow all safety protocols and perform regular machine maintenance.

Process Improvement:

Identify ways to improve machining processes, reduce cycle times, and minimize scrap. Requirements Minimum 3 years as a CNC Machinist, with hands-on experience in 5-axis machining Strong proficiency in CNC programming and machine operation Experience with MasterCam and SolidWorks required Proven ability to machine complex parts within tight tolerances Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Meticulous approach to quality control and specifications Clear verbal and written communication skills
