Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Application Engineer provides machining process support, CNC programming, and technical training to customers, ensuring optimal machine performance and productivity. This role involves Developing machining programs, conducting test cuts, and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, optimize, and debug CNC machining programs for various control systems (Fanuc, Siemens etc.)
  • Select cutting tools, set machining parameters, and conduct test cuts to validate performance
  • Provide technical training for customers on machine operation, CNC programming, and maintenance best practices
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to provide technical pre-sales and after-sales support
  • Troubleshoot and improve customer machining processes to enhance productivity and quality
  • Assist in the preparation of machining demonstrations, sample parts, and process documentation
  • Analyze machining issues and propose effective solutions to customers Stay updated on the latest manufacturing technologies, tools, and cutting strategies
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years (
Senior:
15+ years) of CNC machining and programming experience Proficiency with
CAD/CAM/3D
software Strong understanding of cutting theory, tooling, and machining processes Excellent presentation and customer training skills Willingness to travel domestically and internationally Strong interpersonal skills - dealing with customers on a frequent basis and must be able to work independently
ERP SYSTEM
Following up on machine problems, improvement, service conducted and related matters. Follow up on recorded problems until they are resolved.

$60,943.88 - $110,867.90 per year
