This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, working directly with machinists, solving machining issues, improving programs, and supporting new equipment launches. A degree is helpful, but strong CNC programming, tooling, and fixturing experience matters more. What You'll Be Doing Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for precision-machined components Work from engineering prints, GD&T, and 3D models Use Fusion 360 or similar CAM software to support production machining Support Mazak and Haas CNC mills/lathes, including setup, prove-out, and troubleshooting Select, source, and order tooling for production machining operations Support fixture needs for new parts, process improvements, and machine transitions Improve legacy CNC programs for cycle time, tool life, repeatability, and scrap reduction Partner with machinists, production, maintenance, and engineering to solve shop-floor issues Ideal Background CNC programming experience in a precision machining environment Fusion 360 experience strongly preferred Mazak, Haas, Mazatrol, and G-code experience preferred Strong tooling and fixturing experience Ability to read prints and work from 3D models Hands-on Manufacturing Engineer, CNC Programmer, Tooling Engineer, or Programmer-Machinist background Degree preferred but not required This is an onsite role with strong visibility, steady work, and the opportunity to make an immediate impact.
