Job Description
EST Tool and Machine Inc. is a family-owned job-shop style CNC machining facility, operating in its 30 year. The four person programming department at EST is an integral part in producing a quality product. Programmers have an exciting opportunity to contribute innovative efficiencies to a growing company. Programmer I has the following job responsibilities: Create, modify, and review CNC programs for mills and lathes in Mastercam. Create, modify, and review detailed program sheets for CNC programs in Excel. Manage projects and programs once released to production. Assist higher-level programs with tasks. Pursue process and machining improvements. Communicate effectively with peers and members of production staff. Manage data in an organized manner. Work additional hours as needed for project management or workload Operate CNC mills and lathes as needed. Other responsibilities as needed. Programmer I requires the following experience: Strong CNC machining background. Experience with CAM software, preferably Mastercam. Proficient computer skills. Good familiarity with Excel.
