Job Description

CNC Programmer responsible for developing Mastercam programs, creating manufacturing models, defining machining strategies, and supporting aerospace production from process development through final machining. Job Requirements 2+ years of CNC programming experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Mastercam. Experience programming CNC milling centers. Experience programming CNC turning centers. Experience with fixture design. Experience selecting machining tooling. Experience creating and modifying 3D manufacturing models. Experience developing machining processes prior to material purchase. Experience creating cutting routers and manufacturing process plans. Experience supporting CNC machining operations in a production environment. Preferred Skills Experience optimizing machining strategies for aerospace components. Experience with multi-axis milling or turning operations. Experience with tooling and fixture optimization. Experience supporting machining process improvements. Experience working with engineering models and manufacturing drawings. Experience supporting aerospace quality requirements and dimensional tolerances. Job Responsibilities Develop and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam. Program CNC milling and turning centers. Create and modify 3D manufacturing models. Develop machining strategies for aerospace components. Define machining processes, operation sequences, tooling, and cutting parameters. Develop cutting routers and process plans before material procurement. Design and support machining fixtures. Select cutting tools and workholding methods. Support CNC program prove-out and production implementation. Troubleshoot and modify CNC programs as required. Optimize machining operations for cycle time, tooling performance, and production efficiency. Coordinate machining requirements with engineering and production teams. Support manufacturing processes from initial concept through completed production. Verify machining processes support applicable aerospace quality and dimensional requirements.
Pay:
