• CNC Programmer for our Defense client. As the Manufacturing Engineer
• CNC Programmer (5-axis), you will be responsible for the technical oversight of machining processes for high-tolerance components on 3, 4, and 5-axis platforms within Defense Naval.

• Proficient in Siemens NX modeling, drafting, and manufacturing, as well as Vericut.
• Knowledge of Siemens 8400 controllers.
• Excellent understanding of geometric tolerances, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience with 5-axis CNC programming.

Key Accountabilities:

• Developing and deploying new machining capabilities in a complete manufacturing process from condition of supply through packaging for new product introduction and legacy products.
• The ability to create G-code with both CAM and manual programming.
• Comprehensive understanding of cutting tools and correct applications for them.
• Providing guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• Incorporating Lean Manufacturing best practices and working in a culture focused on continuous improvement.
• Supporting bid proposals for legacy and new opportunities.
• Experience in introducing and statistically qualifying new machine tools and equipment into a factory environment. Active Filters Manufacturing Engineer
