software and the ability to interpret technical schematics. The CNC Programmer will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes while maintaining precision and quality standards. This would be a Mon-Fri 7/7:30am-4/4:30pm schedule based out of the client company's location in Westfield, MA. The average hours per week will be roughly 40-45 with occasional need to go in on Saturday's. Duties Develop and optimize CNC programs for machining operations, including lathes and mills. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to create accurate machining programs. Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD to design and modify parts as needed. Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure seamless integration of designs into production. Conduct setup, calibration, and operation of CNC machines, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Perform regular maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot programming issues and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency. Maintain accurate documentation of all programming activities, including changes made and results achieved.
