Job Description:
CNC Programmer Trainee Key Responsibilities:
CNC Programming:
Create and maintain CNC programs for EDM, Milling, and Jig Grinding. Develop CNC programs for 3-axis surface milling of hardened tool steels.
Documentation and Reporting:
Create and maintain Tooling Inspection Reports. Develop prototype routings and control plans. 3
D Printing:
Program, operate, and maintain 3D printers.
Collaboration and Design:
Create product drawings in collaboration with the engineering team. Administer drawing files within a Product Data Management (PDM) environment. Precision Machining [Secondary Reponsibility] Operate Tool Room equipment to support Operations with Tools, Gages and Fixtures.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of five years of machining experience, including machine setup, troubleshooting, making offsets for tool wear, and part inspection. Ability to read technical drawings and working knowledge of GDT Experience with CNC programming and CAD software is a plus. Working knowledge of G and M codes. Proficiency with Excel.
Job Requirements:
Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with rapid changes in priority. Ability to work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
