CNC Programmer Grand Rapids, MI Direct Hire / On-Site Growing precision manufacturing company seeking a CNC Programmer to support machining operations and drive process improvements in a high-precision production environment. This role will focus on CNC programming, process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering closely with production and quality teams. What you are doing as a
CNC Programmer :
Program and optimize CNC machining processes for efficiency, quality, and throughput. Troubleshoot machining and production issues to minimize downtime. Select tooling, feeds, and speeds for complex precision components. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, and quality enhancement. Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering specifications. Collaborate with operations and quality teams to ensure customer and regulatory requirements are met. Provide technical guidance and support to machine operators and production personnel. What you need as a
CNC Programmer :
3+ years of CNC programming experience, preferably with Swiss-style lathes. Experience with CAD/CAM programming software. Strong understanding of machining processes, GD&T, and blueprint reading. Experience in highly regulated or precision manufacturing environments is preferred. Proven problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset.
