$25.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Full-time | In-person First Shift (6AM to 4:30PM Monday-Thursday, Friday 6AM to 3:30PM, Saturday 6 AM to Noon as needed) About Edwards Machining Inc. Edwards Machining Inc. is an AS9100- and ISO 9001-certified aerospace manufacturer specializing in high-precision CNC machining. We produce mission-critical components for the aerospace industry. Position Overview The CNC / Keyence Programmer is responsible for programming and maintaining our Keyence optical measurement systems and for writing and editing CNC part programs across our full machine platform — from legacy lathes to Swiss-type turning centers and multi-axis turning centers. This role plays a direct part in keeping part programs and inspection programs accurate and current as we standardize and modernize equipment across the shop. What You'll Do Program and maintain Keyence IM optical measurement routines for in-process and first article inspection — profile, OD/length, and geometric features tied to print and GD&T requirements Write, edit, and optimize CNC part programs across our control mix Convert and migrate programs off legacy cells onto Swiss cells and multi-axis turning centers as work moves to those platforms Troubleshoot programs live at the machine — offsets, tool paths, cycle time — working directly with operators Support the SPC/Cpk data program by keeping Keyence measurement routines accurate and repeatable Coordinate with Quality on control-plan-driven inspection requirements and first-piece program setup Keep program revisions organized and documented per document control procedures What We're Looking For Solid G-code/M-code programming experience across more than one CNC control platform Experience programming Keyence IM-series (or comparable optical/vision measurement) systems strongly preferred CMM programming experience a plus Swiss-type turning (Citizen Cincom) programming experience preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T Aerospace or AS9100 shop floor experience preferred, not required for the right technical background
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
