wire edm/cnc mill programmer/operator

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and meet production goals.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Skills:

• Proficiency in operating CNC milling machines and related equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) techniques.
• Familiarity with plasma cutting, stamping press, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with tooling selection, setup, and maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.
• Basic understanding of welding techniques is a plus.
• Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments.
