Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer that is capable of outputting Cabinet, Closet and Architectural parts using Cabinet Vision. Running the CNC is part of the job as well. Duties Develop and write CNC programs for milling machines, lathes, and other CNC equipment using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software such as Cabinet Vision Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with a strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards to ensure precise machining. Set up and operate CNC machinery Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools like AutoCAD and SolidWorks to assist in designing parts and verifying tooling requirements. Conduct toolpath verification, simulation, and troubleshooting to prevent errors during production runs. Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve machining efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline processes. Use precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to inspect parts for conformance to specifications. Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, tooling configurations, and inspection results for quality control purposes. Collaborate with Design team on custom projects Experience Proven experience in CNC programming for both milling machines Strong knowledge of Homag and Holzher controls as well as other CNC control systems. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or CATIA for part design and schematic interpretation. Hands-on experience with CAM programming tools like AutoCAD or similar software for toolpath creation. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings with an emphasis on GD&T principles. Mechanical knowledge of tooling setups, electrical discharge machining (EDM), geometry calculations, and precision measurement instruments. Experience working within lean manufacturing environments to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times is highly desirable. Ability to interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and manufacturing specifications accurately.
