CNC Programmer Job Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and interpreting project blueprints, designing programs, and setting up machines to produce components according to specifications within the millwork industry. CNC operating experience is a plus but is not required. Responsibilities Create precise CNC programs and instructions for cutting tools and machining operations. Select appropriate cutting tools based on the material and machining requirements. Analyze project blueprints, drawings, and models to determine the most efficient production methods. Develop and optimize CNC programs to ensure accuracy, quality, and production efficiency. Set up CNC machines to produce components according to the programmed specifications. Verify dimensions and machining processes to ensure components meet required specifications. Troubleshoot programming and machining issues as needed. Follow established safety and quality standards. Qualifications & Experience Experience programming 3-axis CNC mills . Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and models. Basic mathematical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. CNC machine operating experience is preferred but not required.
