The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CNC programming and machining processes, with the ability to work with precision and attention to detail. This role involves operating CNC lathes and milling machines, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring high-quality production standards. Duties Operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision components according to specifications. Program CNC machines using systems to optimize production efficiency. Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&T specifications to ensure accurate machining. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensions and tolerances. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Collaborate with team members in a lean manufacturing environment to improve processes and reduce waste. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and tooling for assembly tasks as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes. Proficiency in CNC programming (including CAM programming) and familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software. Knowledge of electrical discharge machining is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic math calculations related to machining tasks. Familiarity with welding techniques is beneficial but not required. Ability to operate forklifts safely is preferred.
