About us JC Finley Company is a 40 year-old family owned fabricator of plastic displays, signage, POP displays, and industrial components. Shift:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with overtime as needed.

Hourly pay commensurate with experience plus bonus

SUMMARY The CNC Machine Operator will upload customer supplied DFX files and translate instructions to CAM program for 3 axis CNC routing machines using Mastercam software program. In addition to programming, this person will run the 3 axis CNC routing machines to produce components from plastic sheet according to production requirements supplied by the fabrication department.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Review blueprints and breakout part piece by piece to ensure correct construction specifications. Translates instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program. Maintain minimal machine downtime. Edit programs and set up CNC routers. Replace assigned tooling as needed (i.e., drills, boring bars, milling tools, etc.). Checks completed programs by running simulations. Determines sequence of operations in a program. Chooses cutting tools that will be needed. Writes programs and modify existing ones for increased efficiency. Analyzes and selects speeds and cutting tools for programs. Program and operate 3 axis routers working primarily with 4' x 8' plastic sheet in various thicknesses.

Must have superior proficiency with Mastercam software applications. Must have excellent reading comprehension skills. Good math skills Good active listening skills. Must have good problem-solving skills. Must have excellent time management skills. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be quality conscious and highly detail oriented. Must be able to work effectively with little or no supervision. Must have the ability to read blueprints. Attendance is an essential function of this position. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Must be able to maintain regular and predictable attendance. Follow all safety and production procedures. Self-motivated and able to multi-task. Ability to perform several tasks concurrently.
EDUCATION
High school 2 year technical school preferred
