Position Summary I&M Machine and Fabrication is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer. This position is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills and lathes while ensuring precision, quality, and efficiency in all machining operations. Responsibilities Read blueprints, drawings, and process sheets to determine machining requirements. Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes. Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks. Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Install and align tooling, fixtures, and workpieces. Calculate speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters. Troubleshoot machining issues and perform basic preventative maintenance. Maintain quality and productivity standards. Collaborate with team members to improve machining processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience programming and operating CNC mills and lathes. Experience with live tooling. Strong blueprint reading and machining knowledge. Proficient with precision measuring equipment. Strong math, computer, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Fanuc and Mastercam experience preferred.
