Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates drawings and CNC programs using Esprit Edge software provided by the company. Programs are for 3 and 5 axis milling machines Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals, and specifications Understand and apply GD&T to the programming process Create CAM programming to be used on various CNC milling centers Report information that affects parts quality or production to engineering and management Optimize tooling and cutting parameters based on material and setup Ability to work as part of a production team, receiving and giving productive feedback from peers and supervisors that works toward increasing production quality and staff skills Determine how automated equipment will cut a part. Determine cutting path Use manual and computer-controlled machinery Working with close tolerance (0.01 mm) Support the company strategic goals and values
Qualifications:
Must have High School Diploma or GED Prior knowledge of Esprit software is a plus Must have a minimum of 3 years of CAD/CAM experience programming in a manufacturing environment Must have the ability to interpret metric drawings and GD&T Must be able to adapt easily to changing work environments and be able to multi-task Must have strong attention to detail and deadline oriented
