Our wood manufacturing facility in Old Fort, NC, specializes in precision machining and high-quality craftsmanship. We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to support our production operations by creating and modifying CNC programs using MasterCam . Job Summary The CNC Programmer will be responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs to ensure efficient, high-quality production. This role requires experience with MasterCam , a strong understanding of machining processes, and the ability to work closely with operators and engineers to improve manufacturing performance. Key Responsibilities Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using MasterCam Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings to develop accurate machining instructions Work with CNC operators to ensure proper program execution and troubleshoot any issues Improve efficiency and precision in machining processes through program adjustments Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for optimal performance Maintain organized records of program files and process documentation Follow all safety guidelines and quality control procedures Qualifications Experience with MasterCam programming preferred Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and materials Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings Experience troubleshooting and optimizing G-code and toolpaths Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance Additional supplemental insurance options Company-paid life insurance policy A team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth
