Job Description
Lead CNC Programmer 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars In support of our client, we are seeking multiple CNC Lead Programmers to join their team on location near . This is a direct hire or contract to hire opportunity with our client. As a CNC Lead Programmer, you will be a key member of our manufacturing team, utilizing your expertise in blueprint reading, CNC programming, and machining to ensure precision and efficiency in our production processes. Your premium skills in Fanuc, CAM programming, and CNC lathe operation will be instrumental in driving innovation and quality in our manufacturing operations. With a focus on time management and attention to detail, you will oversee the programming and operation of CNC machines, working collaboratively with the team to meet production goals. Your relevant skills in mechanical knowledge, tooling, and precision measuring instruments will further enhance our capabilities and contribute to the success of our operations.
Position Responsibilities and Requirements:
Experience with Doosan Mill & Lathe, along with some ProtoTRAK machines a plus but not required. Some exposure to CNC Mills and Lathes using FANUC controls. High school diploma or equivalent. Mathematical knowledge. Ability to properly use and read a measuring tape, calipers, and other measuring tools. Computer operating skills. MasterCam, AutoCad / Solidworks experience is a plus. CNC programming/operation/maintenance knowledge. Must be self-motivated and able to maintain acceptable levels of performance with minimal supervision. Must be detailed oriented and possess excellent organizational and time management skills. Must be analytical and able to solve problems. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be ethical and honest. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly throughout the day. Ability to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and other material handling tools safely and efficiently. Must be mechanically inclined. Must be able to pass a company required drug test. Must be willing to work some overtime when production demands.
