Job Description
CNC Programmer-$2,000 Sign-On Bonus! We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will develop and optimize programs for multi-axis and horizontal machines supporting sheet metal fabrication , playing a key role in driving efficiency, accuracy, and overall production performance. This position is based in Canton, Ohio. Key Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis and horizontal machines
- Utilize drawings and CAD models to develop accurate and efficient programs
- Determine machining sequences and select appropriate tooling
- Run simulations and test programs to ensure quality and performance
- Maintain program documentation, including set-up sheets and tool lists
- Analyze work orders and perform necessary calculations for programming
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to finalize programs
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issues
- Monitor program performance to ensure compliance with drawings, safety, and quality standards
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cycle times Qualifications
- 2-5 years of CNC programming experience (sheet metal preferred)
- Proficiency with CAD and AP100US
- Experience with nesting parts and reading blueprints
- Strong math and measurement skills (fractions/decimals)
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or certification preferred Work Environment
- Office-based within a manufacturing facility
- Regular interaction with shop floor operations Physical Requirements
- Primarily sedentary with occasional walking
- Light lifting up to 25 lbs
