Primary Duties Configure, run, and develop programs for 5-axis CNC equipment. Manage program creation, modifications, and diagnostic tasks directly at the machine interface. Prepare necessary tooling, establish work offsets, define tool lengths, and secure fixtures or workholding devices. Analyze intricate technical drawings and apply GD&T standards to ensure accuracy. Refine G and M code sequences to improve overall machining efficiency. Conduct initial part evaluations to help ensure the team meets strict quality and tolerance standards. Resolve operational challenges by modifying feed rates, spindle speeds, tooling choices, and offsets to improve production outcomes. Collaborate with quality and engineering departments to facilitate both current and upcoming manufacturing projects.
