Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of CNC programming experience in a precision manufacturing environment required. Strong understanding of post processors, G-code, and M-code required. Experience working within an AS9100 or ISO 9001-certified quality system required.
Education:
Diploma or certification in CNC Programming, Machining, Manufacturing, or a related field required. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is a plus.

Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm ProRecruiters is seeking a CNC Programmer to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
Develop and optimize CNC programs using Esprit, Edgecam, and Catia to machine precision parts according to technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Import and translate 3D CAD models into CAM toolpaths using appropriate cutting strategies, feeds, speeds, and tooling. Design and program tooling, fixtures, and workholding solutions to support efficient and repeatable machine setups. Generate and verify post-processed G-code and M-code for CNC lathes, mills, and multi-axis machining centers, including 3-, 4-, and 5-axis equipment. Optimize toolpaths and machining sequences to reduce cycle times, minimize tool wear, improve efficiency, and eliminate scrap. Troubleshoot programming, tooling, machine performance, and process issues on the shop floor. Read and interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, annotations, GD&T callouts, technical documentation, and specifications. Verify the accuracy and quality of machined parts through in-process measurement and inspection. Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve design and manufacturability issues. Maintain accurate program revisions and ensure the production floor has access to current, approved programs. Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Experience with Mastercam, SolidWorks, or similar CAD/CAM software is a plus. Aerospace or defense machining experience strongly preferred. Experience programming multi-axis mills and lathes required. Proficiency with Esprit, Edgecam, and Catia preferred. Experience with Mastercam, SolidWorks, NX, or similar CAD/CAM software is a plus. Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, tooling, and multi-axis mill and lathe operations. Working knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and manufacturing documentation, including routers, work instructions, and bills of materials. Ability to apply geometry and trigonometry to programming and machine setup calculations. Detail-oriented with the ability to create and verify accurate, repeatable CNC programs. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Clear verbal and written communication skills.
