This hybrid position combines CNC router programming with production scheduling and project administration. The role coordinates the administrative portion of the countertop business line from templating through fabrication, installation, punch-list completion, and final handoff for billing. This is not a CNC machine operator or general shop labor position. It focuses on the administrative side of the business line and on technical CNC programming. Responsibilities Create accurate CNC router programs from digital templates and approved project details. Verify slab layouts, measurements, seams, edges, and sink or appliance cutouts before production. Schedule templates, production, installers, and outside trades. Track job costs, labor, material usage, and overall project profitability. Analyze business and production data to uncover trends, risks, and growth opportunities. Provide management with clear information that supports better operational decisions. Recommend improvements that expand production capabilities and increase profitability. Help define and implement more efficient workflows that reduce waste, delays, errors, and remakes. Track project status, documents, photos, and tasks in JobTread. Coordinate punch-list items and confirm projects are complete before final billing. Work with the Countertop Salesperson and fabrication shop to maintain appropriate stock of ready-to-purchase stone components. Monitor component inventory, sales, costs, and profitability to guide replenishment. Keep component inventory organized, labeled, priced, and in stock. Qualifications Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through. Ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines. Strong computer skills. Clear written and verbal communication. Willingness to learn our countertop production process and software. Preferred, but not required: Stone fabrication or countertop industry experience.
