Why this role matters When precise parts matter, your code is the difference. Join our Hillsboro, OR team and turn complex drawings into reliable CNC programs that power high-quality production. What you'll tackle Transform prints into efficient CNC code using G-code and CAM workflows. Set up and change over CNC mills (3-4 axis VMC) for repeatable, accurate runs. Apply GD&T to validate design intent and machining strategies. Troubleshoot machines and tooling to resolve issues fast. Use precision measurement and hand metrology to confirm part conformity. Support production with occasional manual machining. Partner with engineering to optimize programs, tooling, and setups. Keep a clean, safe, and well-organized work area. What you bring Strong CNC programming skills with G-code proficiency. Hands-on experience with CNC tooling plus setup/changeover. Blueprint reading with GD&T competency. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capability. Working knowledge of CAD/CAM applications. Proven ability with precision measurement and hand metrology. Manual machining exposure (nice to have).
