All Seasons Placement is seeking experienced CNC Programmers and Senior CNC Machinists for high-level machining opportunities with manufacturing companies throughout Erie County, PA. These positions are intended for experienced machining professionals capable of taking a part from blueprint or drawing to a proven machining process and finished component. We're looking for individuals who understand not only how to operate CNC equipment, but how and why the machining process works. PAY $27.00-$36.00 per hour , depending on programming ability, machining experience, software knowledge, equipment experience, shift, and position.
RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE
Creating and modifying CNC programs Programming CNC mills, lathes, and/or machining centers Programming from blueprints, CAD models, or engineering drawings Writing and editing G-Code and M-Code Using CAM software to develop machining processes and toolpaths Determining machining sequences and operations Selecting tooling and cutting parameters Determining appropriate speeds and feeds Planning workholding and fixturing Completing machine setups and proving out programs Performing first-piece inspections Troubleshooting programming and machining problems Optimizing cycle times Improving tool life and machining efficiency Maintaining dimensional accuracy and tight tolerances Working with engineering, quality, tooling, and production departments Identifying opportunities for process improvements Assisting and training CNC machinists and operators Maintaining program documentation and revisions
EXPERIENCE WE'RE INTERESTED IN
Experience may include: CNC Programming G-Code / M-Code CAD/CAM Programming CNC Mills CNC Lathes Vertical Machining Centers Horizontal Machining Centers Multi-Axis Machining Haas Mazak Okuma Fadal Fanuc or similar controls Complex setups Tooling selection Fixture design or workholding Tight-tolerance machining Prototype and/or production machining Process development and optimization Experience with common CAD/CAM software is highly desirable.
WHAT MAKES A STRONG CANDIDATE?
We're particularly interested in machinists who can look at a print and determine: How are we going to hold it? How are we going to machine it? What tooling should we use? What order should the operations run? How do we make it accurately, efficiently, and repeatedly?
Strong candidates should have:
Advanced CNC machining knowledge CNC programming experience Excellent blueprint-reading skills Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerances Understanding of tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting conditions Strong problem-solving ability Ability to troubleshoot independently Precision measurement and inspection experience Attention to quality and efficiency Dependable attendance and professional work ethic
