CNC Mill Machinist/Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist/Programmer to join a manufacturing team. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity offering competitive pay, steady hours, and benefits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and maintain one or more CNC Vertical Machining Centers.

Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings.

Program and edit machines using G-code and M-code.

Use Mastercam for CNC programming.

Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines.

Conduct quality inspections to ensure parts meet required specifications.

Inspect, measure, and gauge parts for accuracy and defects.

Obtain required tooling, drawings, and special instructions prior to starting jobs.

Follow all safety regulations and procedures.

Work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.

Perform additional tasks as needed to support production.
Job Requirements:
Experience setting up, operating, and programming CNC machines.

Experience with CNC Vertical Machining Centers.

Experience using Mastercam.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings.

Knowledge of G-code and M-code.

Strong attention to detail and precision.

Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Demands:
Independently move steel blocks weighing up to 2,000 lbs. using chain hoists.

Lift and handle materials weighing up to 45 lbs.

Perform activities requiring considerable use of the arms, legs, and whole body, including balancing, stooping, and material handling.

Make precisely coordinated movements with both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.

Walk and stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, on concrete floors.

Normal field of vision, close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and color recognition required.

Wear steel-toed safety shoes and other required personal protective equipment, including ear plugs and gloves.

Maintain a high level of concentration and attention to detail. Safety is paramount in this position.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
