Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining EDM equipment to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and machine operation will ensure efficient production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technology in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and innovation. Responsibilities Set up and operate EDM machines, including wire and sinker types, ensuring precise adherence to technical specifications Program CNC controls using CAM programming software and interpret technical drawings for accurate machining Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings to determine machining requirements Measure finished parts using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy in accordance with GD&T standards Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve product quality Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to safety standards in production and properly handling industrial equipment Experience Proven experience operating EDM machines within a manufacturing or factory setting Strong knowledge of CNC programming, CAM programming, and CNC machining principles Familiarity with Agie controls or similar CNC control systems Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, shop math, and interpreting technical drawings Mechanical knowledge of fabrication tools such as es, stamping presses, CNC lathes, mills, and fabrication equipment Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues effectively and perform basic repairs as needed Experience working with precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and GD&T standards Prior shop or factory experience in manufacturing environments emphasizing safety standards and quality control practices Join us as an EDM Operator if you thrive on precision machining, enjoy working with advanced manufacturing technology, and are committed to producing high-quality components efficiently.
