You will leverage your expertise in advanced programming and machine setup to transform complex designs into high-quality components, serving as a technical authority within our production environment. Responsibilities Develop and refine complex CNC programs to maximize the output and precision of multi-axis lathe operations. Utilize Esprit CAD/CAM software to translate engineering specifications into efficient machine code. Execute independent machine setups, ensuring all parameters are optimized for consistent, high-tolerance production. Mentor and provide technical guidance to machine operators to elevate team performance and technical proficiency. Conduct thorough first-article inspections to ensure all parts meet rigorous quality standards before full-scale production. Maintain peak machine performance through proactive troubleshooting and technical oversight of CNC equipment. Qualifications Required Skills 10+ years of hands-on machining experience or completion of a recognized Journeyman program. Advanced proficiency in Fanuc controls and G-Code programming. Expert-level experience with Esprit 3D CAD/CAM software. Proven ability to perform complex setups on multi-axis lathes (5+ axis). Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in a high-precision manufacturing setting. Preferred Skills Direct experience operating and programming Swiss-style lathes such as Citizen or Tsugami. Experience with Nakamura or Doosan multi-axis machining centers. Demonstrated history of leading technical initiatives or training junior staff in a shop environment.
