$72,800.00 - $87,360.00 Responsibilities Program and set up CNC lathes. Run initial setup to confirm smooth, stable operation. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces. Use precision measuring instruments to verify part features against drawing specifications. Program parts using CAM/CNC programming software, fully utilizing tooling and machine capabilities to ensure consistent quality. Independently set up CNC lathes from a CNC program. Select, align, and secure work holding, cutting tools, and attachments to maximize tool life and job consistency. Instruct and train machine operators on newly set-up jobs prior to handoff to production. Follow established safety procedures and regulations during all operations. Monitor CNC lathe department operations to identify issues affecting production or quality; collaborate with management to resolve problems. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Support training initiatives and assist team members with problem-solving as needed.
