CNC Programmer and Pattern Machinist

Pay:

$20.75 -$35.00 per hour based on experience Job description: H&H Castings, Inc. CNC Programmer and Pattern Machinist - Full-Time The primary responsibility of this position is to set-up tooling for Haas 3-axis machining of foundry patterns and core boxes according to specifications. Perform machine set-ups for any type of foundry pattern, core box and other Pattern Shop CNC function. Experience operating manual/powered machines, tools and measuring equipment, etc. is preferred Knowledge of cutting tool geometry and cutting tool setup Cleaning and maintenance of CNC machines CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) controls Analytical, problem-solving skills Functions such as moving parts/material, loading/unloading, sweeping, cleaning, and various other assignments as needed. Follow Basic instruction with little supervision Maintain a clean and organized work area Knowledge of design pattern and core boxes preferred but not required. Assemble pattern sections, using hand tools, bolts, screws & glue. Knowledge and understanding of drafts, parting lines, core fits and tolerances preferred but not required. CNC programming experience preferred but not required. Other duties as assigned; required being very flexible in their daily job Having a positive attitude and ability to work well with other employees

Friday Education And/or Experience:

Associated degree in a technical field or training in a vocational school preferred. 1 to 3 years of related on the job experience or training in a vocational school required Proven experience as CNC setup and/or programmer: 2 years (required)
