CNC Programmer Andrews, SC $25-$29/hr Job Summary The CNC Programmer serves as the lead of the machining department and is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC finishing equipment. This role supports production by maintaining, repairing, testing, and programming various CNC machines used to manufacture products from a variety of materials. Responsibilities Ensure all CNC equipment, tooling, and related components are maintained in safe working condition and operate efficiently. Set up, program, and operate CNC machines and tooling for a variety of production requirements and materials. Collaborate with management, maintenance personnel, machine operators, and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve machining and production issues. Read, interpret, and create technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models according to production specifications. Design and fabricate prototype components and tooling as required. Support new product development by transforming concepts into CAD drawings and machining processes for review, approval, and production implementation. Create and maintain machining templates and programs for ongoing production needs. Research and obtain pricing information for CNC machinery, tooling, and related equipment purchases. Operate various machining equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders, and fabrication machinery. Build, maintain, and repair fixtures, molds, tooling, and related production components. Ensure molds, fixtures, and tooling are properly prepared, aligned, and ready for production use. Communicate effectively with maintenance, operations, management, and quality teams regarding safety requirements, machining needs, design specifications, production issues, and project timelines. Report equipment concerns, safety issues, resource needs, and project status updates to management. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Knowledge of tooling, fixture design, mold maintenance, and prototype development. Familiarity with mills, lathes, grinding equipment, and fabrication machinery. Experience working with a variety of materials and production processes.

Pay:

$26.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
