We are searching for a CNC Machinist who can troubleshoot & develop programs for new parts and improve existing programs and processes. They would research tooling and work with Quality on measurements after the part is produced to our Customer's specifications. This technician would ecommend and implements improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matter

• The Engineering Tech will support the engineering functions for the organization in areas such as troubleshooting and improving existing processes and developing new processes and/or machinery programs.
• Responsible for implementing projects to improve cost and quality of the manufacturing processes, products, and components
• Investigates and resolves mechanical and/or electrical work-in-process problems
• Works closely with the Quality Department to accurately measure parts and assemblies after changes are made to programs
• Recommends and implements improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters
• Works closely with Engineering designers on product design feasibility and new manufacturing process development
• Develops and maintains manufacturing documentation and quality plans according to company standards when new processes are under development
• Coordinates with vendors regarding new product designs, tooling, and machine parts
• Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment
• Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor

Education and Experience :

• Minimum of a High School Diploma and 5 years experience.
• Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics and/or Related Field
• 2 + years CNC Programming Experience
• Must be a U.S. citizen (visa support is not available)
• Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
• Works systematically and logically to resolve problems
• Excellent project management ability
• Prioritize and complete a variety of tasks in a timely manner
• Strong self-motivation skills
• Possess strong commitment to a team environment
• Willingness to seek and learn new automation technologies
• Working knowledge of CNC programming and G-code
• Knowledge of Mastercam software
• Basic automation knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows
• Proficient with GD&T
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use measuring tools.
• Knowledgeable in all aspects of job clearance .
