As a CNC Programmer you will set nightly production runs and manufacture various mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line in a manufacturing organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ability to understand blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work-pieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
  • General CNC experience up to 4 years, with additional experience in Mazak and Haas machining processes.
  • Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or work-piece as guides for subsequent machining as necessary
  • Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines as necessary.
  • Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as feed, speed, depth and angle of cut or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine controls according to guidelines.
  • Starts and observes machine to detect malfunctions, and adjusts machine as needed.
  • MasterCAM Proficiency.
  • Mazak, Haas, and Heidenhain CNC Control Proficiency.
  • Journeyman-level experience in Milling and Turning for both Setup and Processing of Parts
  • Fill in on Setting up and Running Machines as needed. Skills and Qualifications
  • Certification or associate degree in Machine Tool Technology or 4+ years related experience.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills using rigorous logic and methods to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Night shift Monday-Thursday.

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
