Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to produce precision components for large industrial machinery. This role requires hands-on experience with CNC mills and/or lathes, strong setup and blueprint-reading skills, and the ability to inspect your own work and produce quality parts with limited supervision. Experience with large bridge mills is highly preferred. CNC programming experience is a plus. Primary Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes. Machine components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Set work offsets, tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and machining drawings. Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators, and height gauges. Verify dimensions and tolerances and make necessary machine or tooling adjustments. Troubleshoot machining and setup issues. Inspect completed parts for quality and accuracy. Maintain tooling, machines, and work areas. Assist with machining process and cycle-time improvements. Qualifications & Preferred Experience Several years of CNC machining experience preferred. CNC mill and/or lathe setup experience. Bridge mill experience highly preferred. CNC programming or program-editing experience is a plus. Experience machining large weldments or industrial components is a plus. Strong blueprint-reading and machining knowledge. Ability to hold close tolerances and perform setups with limited supervision. Dependable, quality-focused, and detail-oriented.
