seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Production Supervisor with strong and CNC machining experience . This is a hands-on role combining CNC programming, process improvement, production scheduling, and shop-floor supervision. The ideal candidate can take a part from drawing/model through programming, setup, and production , while working directly with machinists to improve productivity, quality, and on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling and turning operations. Review engineering drawings, CAD models, tolerances, materials, and machining requirements. Develop machining strategies, tooling selections, workholding methods, setup sheets, and operation sequences. Optimize machining processes to reduce setup time and cycle time while maintaining quality. Troubleshoot CNC programming, tooling, setup, and machining issues on the shop floor. Supervise and support machinists and production personnel to achieve productivity, quality, safety, and delivery objectives . Schedule production jobs and coordinate workflow across CNC milling and turning departments. Monitor job progress, machine utilization, estimated versus actual machining hours, and overall production performance. Identify production bottlenecks and work with machinists to keep jobs moving according to schedule. Standardize and continuously improve machining processes for repeat production jobs. Work closely with Quality, Production, Purchasing, and Management to meet customer delivery requirements. Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with CNC programming . Experience programming CNC mills and/or CNC lathes . Strong understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, feeds and speeds, fixtures, and workholding. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T, and dimensional tolerances. Experience working directly with CNC machinists and resolving shop-floor production issues. Production scheduling or shop supervision experience preferred. Ability to balance programming responsibilities with daily production priorities. Strong focus on productivity, accountability, quality, and on-time delivery . Preferred Experience Experience in a job shop / high-mix CNC manufacturing environment . Experience machining complex components and difficult materials. Familiarity with Fanuc-controlled CNC equipment. Experience improving cycle times and reducing setup times. Experience tracking estimated versus actual machining hours and machine utilization.

Pay:

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
