CNC Turret Lead Delta Electronics (Americas) Ltd. - 5.0 Plano, TX Job Details Full-time $30 - $34 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Tooling Forklift Power tools Welding Hand tools Full Job Description Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Turret Lead, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operation and coordination of CNC turret punch presses. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead precision machining processes, ensure quality standards, and mentor team members. As a key contributor, you will utilize your expertise in CNC programming, mechanical knowledge, and manufacturing best practices to drive efficiency and excellence on the shop floor. Your leadership will help us deliver high-quality components efficiently while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of CNC turret punch presses, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production schedules. Develop and modify CNC programs using CAM programming software to meet detailed specifications and improve machining efficiency. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and CAD models to produce precise parts. Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part accuracy. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize tooling, fixtures, and machining processes for plastics injection molding, welding, or other related operations. Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols related to electrical discharge machining (EDM), power tools, hand tools, and forklift operation. Train and mentor team members on CNC programming techniques, machine maintenance, quality standards, and lean manufacturing principles. Experience Proven experience leading CNC turret punch press operations or similar machining equipment such as CNC lathes or milling machines. Strong background in CNC programming with knowledge of Fanuc controls or equivalent systems. Familiarity with GD&T standards for precise measurement and quality control in manufacturing environments. Mechanical knowledge related to tooling setup, electrical discharge machining (EDM), welding, assembly processes, and use of precision measuring instruments. Hands-on experience with SolidWorks or CAD software for designing or interpreting technical drawings. Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes is a plus. Ability to read blueprints confidently while applying basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Physical ability to operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other machinery safely and effectively.
