DJM CNCProg CV(7-30)-1 CNC Programmer | Mastercam | Multi Axis Machining Are you the person everyone turns to when a program needs to run faster, hold tighter tolerances, or solve a difficult machining problem? We're looking for an experienced CNC Programmer who enjoys programming complex parts, improving machining processes, and working closely with machinists to bring challenging components into production. This is more than a programming role. You'll own the process from engineering drawings through production-ready programs while serving as a technical leader for the machining team. What You'll Do- Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for complex precision machined components.
- Develop efficient machining strategies for 3, 4, and 5 axis applications.
- Select tooling, feeds, speeds, and workholding solutions.
- Lead setup validation, prove-outs, and first article production.
- Troubleshoot programming and machining issues.
- Improve cycle times, tool life, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Create setup documentation and maintain program revisions.
- Partner with Engineering, Production, and Quality to deliver reliable manufacturing processes.
- Mentor programmers and machinists while helping raise technical capability across the shop. What We're Looking For
- Strong Mastercam programming experience.
- Experience machining complex precision components.
- Solid understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
- Experience with CNC milling, turning, or both.
- Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, workholding, and machining strategy.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience proving out new programs and supporting production. Preferred Experience
- 3 to 7+ years of CNC programming experience.
- Multi axis machining experience.
- Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or similar CNC controls.
- Fixture design or tooling experience.
- Continuous improvement or Lean manufacturing experience.
