Job Title:

CNC Programmer Contract:

Initial 6 months (extension likely)

Rates:

Competitive $ hourly

Job Summary:

Responsible for CNC programming, setup support, and machining of aerospace components. Develop efficient machining strategies using CAD models, drawings, and blueprints. Support production, engineering collaboration, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Program 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling machines. Create CNC programs, setup sheets, and machining documentation. Support machine setup, testing, troubleshooting, and production runs. Review CAD models and drawings for manufacturability. Collaborate with engineering on tooling, fixtures, and process improvements. Estimate machining time, materials, and project requirements.

Qualifications:

7+ years of CNC programming experience (milling). 3+ years of Siemens NX CAM programming experience. Experience with 3, 4, and 5-axis machining. Aerospace or precision manufacturing experience preferred. Knowledge of CAD, tooling, and CNC machining processes.

Pay:

$40.00 - $60.00 per hour
