This role is the bridge between design and production, responsible for taking projects from the digital phase into physical components. You will be tasked with programming cabinetry and custom parts using Mozaik software and managing the full production cycle on our Felder Format 4 flatbed CNC. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of cabinet construction, a "measure twice, cut once" mentality, and the technical skill to maintain high-end European machinery. You will play a critical role in ensuring our shop workflow remains efficient, accurate, and safe. Responsibilities CNC Programming & Software Integration Convert design files into production-ready nested drawings and G-code using Mozaik . Machine Operation & Production Set up and operate the Felder Format 4 flatbed CNC, ensuring parts are machined to exact tolerances. Manage material handling, including loading full sheets and labeling finished parts for the assembly team. Monitor machine performance during cycles to identify and correct any issues with tool deflection, vacuum hold-down, or finish quality. Maintain an organized workflow to meet production deadlines and keep the shop floor running smoothly. Maintenance & Quality Control Perform routine daily and weekly maintenance on the CNC, including cleaning, lubrication, and vacuum pump checks. Manage tooling inventory, including monitoring bit sharpness and performing tool changes and height calibrations. Conduct quality checks on machined parts to ensure edge quality and dimensional accuracy. Troubleshoot mechanical or software errors as they arise to minimize downtime. Safety & Collaboration Adhere to all shop safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace around the CNC area. Communicate effectively with the assembly and finishing departments to ensure a seamless handoff of parts. Assist in refining shop standards and CNC processes to improve overall manufacturing efficiency. Optimize sheet yields through efficient nesting strategies to minimize material waste. Modify and troubleshoot part geometries, toolpaths, and drilling patterns to meet custom project specifications. Collaborate with the design team to ensure all cabinetry components align with client requirements and shop standards.

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
