Address 248 Dunlop Blvd Overview An Aircraft Painter I coats the surfaces of an aircraft with paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin or other material, using brushes, rollers, spray guns and other devices. The aircraft painter removes old paint from aircraft, using liquid paint remover and scraper. Responsibilities Prepares the aircraft for paint by masking and sanding the aircraft and parts Primes and paints aircraft and aircraft parts Has general knowledge of technical manuals and painting processes Reads and follows work instructions Maintains all documentation throughout process; documentation is legible and per QMS and/or customer requirements Assembles materials and resources needed for the position; cleans equipment properly Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
One year aircraft painting or equivalent experience required Paint experience preferred Any combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO or higher.
