The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality coatings and finishes to various industrial components and structures. This role involves operating spray guns, powder coating equipment, and interpreting production documents to ensure precise application standards. The Industrial Painter plays a crucial part in delivering durable, visually appealing products that meet industry specifications and customer expectations. Responsibilities Perform industrial painting, coating, and finishing on a variety of metal and industrial parts. Operate spray guns, including painting, coating, and spraying tools, to apply finishes efficiently and accurately. Conduct powder coating processes to ensure durable and uniform surface coverage. Follow production finishing procedures to achieve the desired surface quality and appearance. Interpret production documents such as work orders, technical drawings, and process instructions to ensure correct application techniques. Prepare surfaces prior to painting by cleaning, sanding, or masking as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area while handling painting equipment and materials. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring coatings are even and free of defects. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality requirements. Experience Proven experience in industrial painting or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with spray guns, powder coating equipment, and other painting tools is essential. Ability to interpret technical documents related to production processes. Knowledge of safety procedures related to handling paints, coatings, and spraying equipment. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining safety standards.
Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
