Aircraft Coating Training Coordinator Genesis Industrial Staffing is currently hiring for a Production Training Coordinator in Mobile, AL .

Pay:

$27-$28 per hour This is a leadership-focused position responsible for coordinating employee training, developing production staff, and ensuring employees are properly trained in safety, quality, and production procedures. The position will work closely with production supervisors and management to identify training needs and help employees develop their skills. Job Responsibilities Coordinate and conduct training for production employees. Provide hands-on and classroom-style training covering aircraft cleaning, preparation, masking, and painting processes. Train new employees on safety procedures, production requirements, and company processes. Support onboarding and mentor new employees during their training period. Evaluate employee skills and identify areas where additional training is needed. Develop training plans to improve employee skills, including surface preparation, painting techniques, and quality control. Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and feedback. Work with supervisors and management to identify skill gaps and improve training programs. Schedule training sessions while minimizing disruption to production. Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and compliance documentation. Develop and update training materials, manuals, and visual aids. Assist with interviewing and evaluating potential production employees. Participate in corrective action and root-cause initiatives when needed. Coordinate training related to safety, quality, environmental, and other operational areas. Ensure proper PPE use and compliance with safety requirements during training. Promote safe work practices and accident prevention. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Previous experience in aircraft painting, industrial painting, aircraft coatings, or a similar production environment. Strong knowledge of painting and coating application techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation. Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS). Experience using painting tools and equipment such as sanders, HVLP paint guns, electrostatic paint guns, and buffers. Comfortable training, coaching, and working with employees at different skill levels. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Must be at least 18 years old. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Must be willing to submit to a drug and alcohol screen and background check. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolding, and ramps. Ability to crawl, kneel, bend, and crouch as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely work at heights and in industrial environments. Ability to wear a respirator and required PPE. Ability to work around loud noise, fumes, airborne particles, and industrial chemicals while following proper safety procedures. Schedule Must be available to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends as needed , as well as overtime when required.
