What you will be doing… Prepareaircraftcomponentsfor a paint job by performing thorough sanding, masking, and priming procedures, ensuring smooth and flawless surfaces. Inspect componentstoidentifyimperfections, scratches, or dents that require repair or attention. Responsible for painting, base coat application, refinishing, corrosiontreatmentandcuring requirements. Maintainand enforce a clean workstation/Paint Booths, free from Foreign Object/Debris (FOD) including tooling used to perform painting duties. Perform all workin accordance withFederalAviation Administration (or equivalent) guidelines. Adhere to Cobalt's Repair Station Quality Manual and internal processes. Ensure your work area is neat, clean, and in safe condition. Observe,implementand uphold company safety and OSHA guidelines and company Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies. (e.g.safety glasses, respirators, ear protection, etc.) Perform other duties as assigned. What we are looking for… You will need to: Mechanical and Mathematical aptitude. Mustbe able to understand written and verbal instructions. Strong workethicand willingness to perform physically demanding tasks. Ability tolift upto 50 lbs.
