Job Description

PVB Fabrications, Inc. (PVB), a direct-hire, multi-disciplined industrial construction and metal fabrication company, is seeking a Painter with experience in industrial painting or coatings, including large-scale acrylic, polyurea, and other applications. About the Role This position is responsible for all field work in preparing materials, equipment and tooling to safely and efficiently paint or apply coating to various surfaces and material types. This role involves laborious work for preparation of surface to meet Manufacturer or Industry standards, apply paint in multiple coatings and validate curing process. Perform all duties as required by Foreman, Superintendent or other project staff. Key Responsibilities Prepare and protect work areas by masking and covering adjacent surfaces, structures, and utilities. Perform surface preparation for new and existing materials, including cleaning, sanding, priming, and chemical treatments as required. Mix, stage, and apply coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment in accordance with project specifications. Operate and maintain painting equipment, ensuring proper setup, functionality, and safe use. Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas throughout the project lifecycle. Safely move and handle materials, tools, and equipment across job sites. Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ladders, and aerial lifts to support coating applications. Conduct end-of-shift equipment cleaning, inspection, and maintenance, including spray systems and components. Follow all company policies, procedures, and project requirements. Comply with and promote safety and environmental standards, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment. Participate in required training programs and ongoing skill development. Qualifications Experience in industrial painting/coatings, including large-scale applications (e.g., acrylic, polyurea) Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record Ability to work extended hours and travel as needed to meet project and workload demand Why Join Us?
