Job Description
Our client, a premier custom manufacturer, is looking to hire an Automotive Painter's Helper for their Phoenix, AZ location. The ideal candidate will need previous Painting Prep experience (vehicle prep a plus) for this position. Responsibilities include assisting vehicle painters with a variety of tasks to help complete painting projects quickly and efficiently. This position is working outside in AZ temperatures.
The Day-to-Day:
Preparation:
Sanding, masking, priming, and leveling surfaces

Cleanup:
Cleaning the work area and painting equipment and tools
•
Painting:
Mixing paint, applying paint, finishes, primers, and sealers, and helping the painter apply paint
•
Other:
Removing old paint, taping, and grinding
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Experience with hand tools & power tools Physical strength and stamina (working outside) with attention to safety
Pay Rate/Shifts:
$18.00 to $25.00 /hr Monday to Friday 4:00 AM to 1:00
