This position is responsible for preparing parts and applying high-quality Cerakote finishes. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has painting experience, mechanical ability, and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities Clean, degrease, blast, and prepare parts for coating Mask and plug parts according to job requirements Mix and apply Cerakote using professional spray equipment Operate curing ovens and follow proper curing procedures Inspect completed parts for coverage, color, texture, and defects Perform touch-ups and correct quality issues when needed Maintain spray guns, blasting equipment, and work areas Keep parts organized and correctly identified throughout production Follow job instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards Assist with general shop duties as needed Qualifications Cerakote, automotive painting, industrial coating, or spray-gun experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow preparation, mixing, spraying, and curing procedures Comfortable working with hand tools and shop equipment Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Reliable attendance and ability to arrive on time Able to work independently and as part of a team Willing to learn and accept feedback What We're Looking For We need someone who takes pride in their work, stays productive, and understands that excellent finishes begin with excellent preparation.
